If "transhumanism" is "the most dangerous idea on earth?" (FT.com), shall we ban eyeglasses as well?

If we can program in an ethics gene, along with empathy, independent thought, responsibility, and a few other increasingly rare traits, why yes, it would indeed be the most dangerous idea.
